Dear Friends and Family,

Thank you so much to all who sent in support last month.  We were able to do work on two rooms, repainted the living room and did some unexpected repairs in the kitchen.  We were also able to go to the Calvary Chapel conference where we all enjoyed the fellowship so much.  But the highlight for me was watching God touch Roxana and Cosmin.  One night they both rededicated their lives to the Lord, and on the drive home Cosmin told me he was impressed with the pastors, their honesty, their love, and their wisdom, that he wants to be a pastor.  With this new passion he even had the courage to tell his girlfriend, who actually encouraged him!

I got a call from CPS, they told me that they had nominated me to receive the "Family of the Year" award from the Mayor!  I was so surprised!  Then the boss of CPS Deva called me and said to bring Roxana in so they can explain to her why I can't adopt her.  When we got there she told me, "Everyone knows you, you have friends in high places, don't you?"  I just smiled.  And then they asked Roxana if she's sure she wants to continue with the adoption process to which she of course said "Yes!".  So now Roxana's adoption is continuing and in process!  PRAISE GOD!

The award ceremony was awesome.  I had to give a speech.  I did ok in the beginning then choked up.  When I said, "When the first child called me Mommy, I knew I couldn't leave."  The Mayor started clapping and then everyone clapped.  I took that as a clue that my speech was over.  I walked back to my seat and there was dead silence.  Apparently, that wasn't a clue.  I still am laughing about it.  I didn't get to say all I wanted to say, but afterwards I went up to the Mayor to tell him how much I appreciated all he's done for Petrosani and then told him I was praying for him.  He said "Thank you.  Please keep praying for me."  God has put it in my heart over the last few years to keep him in my prayers and I finally got to meet him, a very nice man!

Thank you everyone for your love, prayers, and support!  This award wouldn't have been possible without you!

Our needs for this month:

Thank you to everyone who sent in support!  It was enough to cover our basic needs and do repairs and pay for the conference.  Again please know that even 5$, 10$, 25$ etc. can go a very long way and is a huge blessing!

In July we would like to send 3 kids to a summer camp.  I am thinking that would be a good time to redo their room!  The cost for that would be 215$ for each child for the week.

I am also putting aside money to do the room, and because of the surprise repairs we are short 300$.

Prayer requests:
Still waiting for our friend to be "free" to work on Marie's house.  Still praying about finding a company to do it!
For the adoptions to continue without anymore problems
For wisdom to complete all the repairs needed!
